Jeremy Teddy Karn was born in Monrovia, Liberia. He is currently a PhD student in Creative Writing and Literature at the University of Houston.  He earned his MFA from the Iowa Writers’ Workshop, where he received fellowships to support his work.  He is the co-founder of Pepper Coast Mag.
