Jeremy Teddy Karn is an M.D. Anderson Fellow and PhD student at the University of Houston. He earned his MFA from the Iowa Writers’ Workshop, where his work received the John C. Shupe Award in Poetry and the Stanley International Fellowship for summer research in Geneva, Switzerland. He has also received support through a Summer Poetry Scholar Fellowship at the Provincetown Fine Arts Work Center.

His work has been published and is forthcoming in several journals and magazines. Born and raised in Logan Town, Monrovia, Liberia, he currently lives and teaches in Houston, Texas.
